About Us

Andhara Jeeva Belaku Trust

We support visually challenged people by providing them education and other basic facilities.

Andhara Jeevabelaku Trust is a registered NGO under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960. The organization provides free food, shelter, and financial support, including college fees, transportation, and medical facilities, in Ranebennur, Haveri District, Karnataka. Currently, 16 girls and 3 boys are benefiting from these services. We aim to extend our support to more individuals in the upcoming academic year and continue to care for their needs until they gain employment.

Visited tourists Places

We arranged 5 days tour to Dharmasthala temple, Murudeshwar beach, and Mysore palace for our students.

State level cultural event

We organized state-level cultural program for visually impaired students in Ranebennur, Karnataka. More than 50 students actively participated in this event.
18-Nov-2020

Computer Training Class

On 18th October 2020, we held a free computer training class for visually impaired students in Ranebennur, Karnataka. This training is provided through the use of Non-Visual Desktop Access or NVDA which is a free screen reading software that enables people with blindness to use computers. And also these programs make visually impaired people “Computer literate” and open up the world of Computers and the Internet to people with visual disabilities.

State Level Chess Tournament for the visually challenged was organized by Andhar Jeevabelaku Samsthe Ranebennur on the occasion of World Blind Day at Ramakrishna Ashrama Ranebennur.

One day reading & writing awareness workshop

Enable India & Andhara Jeevabelaku Samsthe, Ranebennur have collectively held a one-day reading & writing awareness workshop on 27th August 2019. This activity took place at the Andhara Jeevabelaku Trust, Ranebennur for School & College. Through this workshop, we have aimed at creating and propagating awareness about the organization's role in helping the visually impaired students associated with Andhara Jeevabelaku Trust.
